Anousha Nazari (Mezzo-soprano) and Antoine Morinière (classical guitarist) invite you to immerse yourself in Baroque Labyrinth: When Handel Meets Maraghi with two exceptional concerts: on Thursday 10 April at the Institut français d’Écosse in Edinburgh and on Friday 11 April at the Wellington Church of Scotland in Glasgow!
This concert offers a journey through the paths of Baroque music, where the works of Handel, Purcell, Dowland, and Strozzi meet with the captivating melodies of 15th-century Persian composer Abd al-Qadir Maraghi.
Through unique arrangements for voice and guitar, the program bridges eras and cultures, celebrating the harmony from diversity. Each carefully selected piece reveal a new facet of Baroque music, providing an experience that is both intimate and immersive.
Join us for an evening of discovery and emotion, where the magic of music weaves connections between past and present. Baroque Labyrinth: When Handel Meets Maraghi is more than a concert; it’s an exploration of the richness of musical diversity.
