Join us for an evening with Jenny Colgan and Sophie Gravia, in aid of The Lyceum.
Jenny Colgan is one of Scotland’s greatest exports. She has sold over 10 million copies of her ‘feel good fiction’ worldwide. The Christmas Bookshop, about a bookshop on Victoria Street in Edinburgh was a New York Times bestseller and the sequel Midnight at the Christmas Bookshop is published in paperback this Autumn. Her diverse career which started in London in standup has also seen her write for Doctor Who. She is a champion of books by women for women, a genre which has been side-lined since the days of Jane Austen.
Jenny is joined on The Lyceum’s stage by Scotland’s latest publishing sensation Sophie Gravia. She came from nowhere during Covid with her blog ‘Sex in the Glasgow City’ and now consistently has multiple titles in the bestseller list. She is the author of chart-topping bestsellers A Glasgow Kiss, What Happens in Dubai and Meet Me in Milan.
In this one-off event as part of our ‘Evening With…’ fundraising series, join Jenny and Sophie for an insightful discussion of their writing careers, including an audience Q&A session for all your burning questions.
VIP tickets are not only the best seats in the house, but include a meet and greet in the Henry Irving Room from 6pm for a chance to chat with the authors. Included in this ticket is also a glass of prosecco or orange juice.
All profits go to The Royal Lyceum Theatre Company Ltd., a charity registered in Scotland number SC010509.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
