Using the imagery and themes from the traditional embroideries on display, you will be using beads and sequins as your medium.
You will learn effective embroidery techniques using beads and sequins, incorporating these into traditional stitches such as Chain, Blanket and Whipped stitch. Learning how to sew embellishments professionally and securely, you will work to create a bright and ornate beaded sampler.
This workshop is aimed at beginners and intermediate stitchers and would be a great follow on from the Thread Work Embroidery workshop
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
