There are 1970s and French themes in the Dogs + Noir exhibition at Detour Espresso.
Two of AJ Kinroy’s large woodcut prints are inspired by Jean-Pierre Melville’s transposition of American film noir into 1970s France; elsewhere there is a scene at Le Corbusier’s Villa Savoie, and a modernist building can be seen behind a greyhound at full pelt in On the Turn.
Greyhounds are also a theme: the exhibition could justifiably be titled Three Greyhounds and a Dalmatian.
