Dominic Waxing Lyrical returns to the Traverse with long term collaborators Mr McFall’s Chamber on 1st December as part of The Soundhouse Winter Festival.
About Dominic Waxing Lyrical x Mr McFall’s Chamber - POSTPONED
This is the very special album launch for DWL’s new album Diminuet which is the second to feature the instrumental polymaths.
Conceived in the Bible Belt of North America, Diminuet was written and produced by Dominic Harris and Ricky White (Oi Polloi and King Klang) with string arrangements by Robert McFall. Neatly for us, the album has winter as its theme.
The show is much more than a rendering of the new songs and some old favourites, as threading the music together will be a spoken word performance by Dominic, inspired by the Welsh epic poem Y Gododdin.
The show is directed by Scottish dramatist David Greig.
