Following the recent release of his autobiography ‘A Very Simple Mind’, Derek Forbes is now on tour promoting it!
You probably won’t need to be reminded that Derek was the bass player with Simple Minds during that golden period (1978 to 1985) playing on hits that include ‘Waterfront’, ‘Promised You A Miracle’ & of course everyone’s favourite 80s song ‘Don’t You Forget About Me’!
This seated event will consist of:
*A live performance by Derek with his band of the songs he was involved in writing within Simple Minds
*A Q & A session focused on his life in music with the audience able to ask Derek questions around the end too
*A book signing with an opportunity for members of the audience to meet Derek
