Green Day’s explosive, two-time Tony Award-winning hit musical American Idiot tells the story of three lifelong friends, forced to choose between their dreams and the safety of suburbia and follows their quest for true meaning in the world. The three men plan to leave their hometown, with Tunny joining the armed forces, Will staying home, and Johnny getting involved with a mystery woman and a hazardous friendship.
Featuring the hits “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” “Holiday” and the blockbuster title track, “American Idiot” from their 2004 Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum album.
The show features the music of Green Day with the lyrics of its lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong and book by Armstrong and Michael Mayer.
Saturday 13th April matinee performance at 14:30 will be a relaxed performance.
