Join Tyla Winter (Voice), Rachel Nicolson (Drums) and Natalia Zoladkiewcz (Voice) in celebrating women in music for their final performance exam as part of their studies at Edinburgh Napier University.
The night will be a fusion of genres and styles that best represent each musician as they showcase the skills they've developed during their time at the University.
Natalia, a talented Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter brings a captivating blend of magical charm of the Disney sound to the world of Pop, Rock, R&B and Soul music. With her enchanting and sassy vocals, spanning the mid and high ranges, she’s exploring further levels of the musical world. Originally from Poland, Natalia made her way to Scotland to refine her vocal and musical expertise. The night will be her debut Edinburgh performance where she will be showcasing some of her original material as well as songs from a blend of genres she excels in, ranging from musical theatre to pop and rock.
Rachel is known for her versatility, adaptability and capacity for laying down a strident groove. Rooted in a musical upbringing within the church, she excels in expressive and emotive drumming. Drawing on her background and varied interests, she is a powerful musician who leans back into a groove with funk, soul and attitude. The night will see her taking on the role of a bandleader behind the kit playing a variety of genres from Pop and Funk to Musical Theatre and Worship.
Tyla is a distinguished vocalist and session musician with a specialisation in an array of musical genres. Over the years, she has established herself as an assertive frontwoman, who effortlessly engages audiences of varying sizes. On the night, she will be singing music that demonstrates her individual style such as Soul, Jazz and Blues. She'll be joined by an 8-piece band made up of Edinburgh's finest musicians to showcase her abilities as a performer and to pay homage to the artists who have inspired and influenced her such as Amy Winehouse, Etta James and Beth Hart.
Come along and support an all-female line-up for a night of music you'll be sure to remember!
