Join Norma Allan to celebrate the publication of Time to Play, her collection of poems on old age. This collection contains a variety of topics including Fun and Leisure, Women’s Vanities, Health, Techy Problems and a thoughtful Philosophical section dealing with this challenging stage of life. Most importantly, the poems are optimistic, upbeat and laced with humour.
So enjoy a relaxed afternoon with Norma who will first talk about the collection and then read a selection of the poems to whet your appetite.
Norma Allan is a retired teacher who has self-published a number of poetry collections and various non-fiction books; Time To Play is published by Main Point Books. She currently runs walking tours of Edinburgh in her capacity as a Blue Badge Tourist Guide.
