Our new exhibition at the SOC in Aberlady, presents watercolours by Darren Woodhead, inspired by the wildlife and landscapes of Scotland, and East Lothian in particular.

An exhibition of watercolours by Darren Woodhead, inspired by the wildlife and landscapes of Scotland, and East Lothian in particular.

Darren is a virtuoso watercolourist who works exclusively outside from direct observation in the field. This way of working gives his works a unique freshness and immediacy. His subject matters include Geese returning to roost in Aberlady Bay, views of the Lammermuirs under snow, Isle of May puffins, etc.
