When John Hegley was poet-in-residence at Keats House in London, he came upon the marvellous phrase, 'a scarcity of biscuit', among the letters of the great Keats himself. There will be no such scarcity in this workshop.
You will get the chance to draw a biscuit of your choice, while accompanied by John's gentle strummings. Then, in the tradition of his French father, who once stuck a paper fish on the back of his unsuspecting sister, you will 'write a fish' (rather than putting them on sisters or anyone else). You will also be invited to delve into bees, knees, eggs, legs and gratitude, if you so please.
Suitable for children of all ages, but under 16's to be accompanied by an adult.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
