Since 2018, in partnership with The City of Edinburgh Council Additional support for learning service, monthly Friday Friends sessions have welcomed two groups to the museum:
D/deaf children and their families
Visually impaired children and their families
All children attend mainstream schools.
The groups meet monthly and explore the themes of the museum through objects, music, art and activities.
This year, Friday Friends sessions will also be running at Edinburgh Zoo and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
