Lino printing is a very relaxing and meditative technique that can be divided into three processes : drawing a design, copying the design onto the lino block. Carving the lino block and then printing it onto paper or textiles.
I use non toxic inks made with vegetable dyes and washable with soap and water.
The class is completed in a block of three 2 hour sessions.
A different lino printing technique will be covered in each of the three classes. Coming up between now and December I will be running:
CLASS - Lino printing in Multiple colours onto paper runs from 2 -4pm on Fridays 29th Sept, 6th, 13th October
CLASS - Lino block printing onto textiles runs from 2 - 4pm on Fridays 27th October, 3rd, 10th November
CLASS - Lino printing greetings cards and wrapping paper runs from 2 - 4pm on Fridays 1st, 8th, and 15th December
All printing materials, tea and biscuits will be provided.
