Wednesday Lecture Series – Raeburn’s Edinburgh A portrait of Edinburgh and a story of Henry Raeburn’s portraits.
Raeburn’s Edinburgh marks the 200th anniversary of Henry Raeburn’s death by mapping his life and times in Edinburgh through the people he painted. Set within the elegant rooms of the Georgian House, this exhibition will feature paintings and engravings brought together from a range of National Trust of Scotland properties.

Wednesday 1st November - Walking in Raeburn’s Shadow - the history and practice of silhouettes
Wednesday 15th November - Wartime Faces: Henry Raeburn’s martial portraits
