Drummer John 'Cambo’ Cambridge gives first-hand accounts of living with David Bowie at Haddon Hall. Listen to John's amusing and moving recollections of when Bowie had his first hit record ‘Space Oddity’, of touring Scotland with him in 'Junior’s Eyes' and of being the person responsible for persuading Mick Ronson to join Bowie in 'Hype'. John was there for Bowie at many key moments – when he lost his father, passed his driving test and played his first Glam Rock gig. He even acted as best man when David married Angela Barnett in 1970.
John will be signing copies of his book 'Bowie, Cambo and all the Hype'.
