Join Louisiana’s first family of American roots for a very special workshop.
Suitable for any instrumentalist and vocalist, this workshop will deliver a wealth of knowledge from the the foremost exponents of Cajun and Appalachian music. Find out about the history of the tunes and songs, compare them with Scottish melodies, and learn how to play them.
The workshop will be split into two parts. In part 1 melody players will be taught by Dirk whilst back-up instrumentalists and singers will work with Amelia. In part 2 of the workshop everyone will come together for a glorious group jam.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
