About Guid Crack: Amorous Beasties
Inspired by Scotland’s national bard, Rabbie Burns, this evening will blend two prominent themes of his poetry, romance and supernatural encounter, for an unorthodox evening of traditional tales and unusual anecdotes. Ever dated someone you suspected of being a Selkie? Been lured under a hill by faery enchantment?
Bring along tales of otherworldly amore, romantic enchantment and wyrd love to share in the open floor part of the night. Dougie Mackay is our guest storyteller as Edinburgh’s monthly storytelling club returns home to the upstairs of the Waverley Bar.
Booking Information:
This event is non-ticketed, please arrive early to guarantee a seat. Donations welcome on the night (suggested £5, cash only).
Please note this venue is upstairs with no lift access.
