We warmly welcome popular Scottish author Val McDermid into the LifeCare Centre on Thursday 16th June at 2PM to officially open our recently refurbished café as well as sign copies of her book that you may bring along.

Val McDermid’s latest book, 1979, is the unmissable first thriller in an electrifying, brand-new series. Following reporter Allie Burns, Allie and fellow journalist Danny Sullivan are exposing the criminal underbelly of respectable Scotland. They risk making powerful enemies – and Allie won’t stop there.
