Hailing from Mechanicsville, Virginia, this magnetic singer-songwriter has been making waves with her folksy rock since her debut album No Burden in 2016. Fans were so besotted with her heart-wrenching track ‘Thumbs’, they set up a Twitter account just to update on whether it had been released yet or not.

Written on a short car journey as she headed out for dinner in Nashville, and finally released last year ahead of her third album, Home Video, ‘Thumbs’ is an example of her haunting, yet apparently effortless storytelling, where her rich, clear vocal floats over minimal synth and mellotron. Live shows often feature her soaring cover versions too, of ‘Dancing in the Dark’, ‘La Vie en Rose’, ‘Last Christmas’ and ‘In the Air Tonight’, among others.
