Fringe by the Sea: Gail Porter

About Fringe by the Sea: Gail Porter

Gail Porter is presented by Speaker Buzz and in conversation with The Flock.

While enjoying a successful career as a television presenter, personality and model, Edinburgh-born and London-based Gail Porter suffered from self-doubt, anxiety, depression and anorexia. She went on to experience post-natal depression, alopecia, self-harm, divorce and homelessness.

She now speaks from the heart about the highs and lows of her life and career – and in particular her experiences of mental health illness to help others understand how to support those experiencing problems.

Gail, the subject of the BAFTA Scotland award-winning BBC documentary ‘Being Gail Porter’, will bravely share her story at Fringe by the Sea on Friday 6 August.

Gail will be in conversation with Jennifer Crichton editor and founder of The Flock magazine.

Venue: Belhaven Big Top
