The world-famous Hogmanay Snow Ball #Ceilidh is back for a 9th year! Two glittering ballrooms, two live top ceilidh bands... and an atmosphere like no other event!

Run by an award-winning local team, the big ceilidh has frozen its ticket prices for a few years - they start at just £49.99 - and you can even opt to pay in two instalments!

The two dazzling ballrooms of the historic Assembly Rooms Edinburgh are dressed and lit in a magical winter theme - you'll be dancing under the city's grandest chandeliers!

It's a real ceilidh! It's loved by experts and beginners (as dances are 'called' or guided) but it's also a night of huge glamour and the perfect occasion and setting to dress up and shine after all the recent woes we've had!

Simultaneously in each ballroom our very carefully chosen live bands will entertain and lead you through reels and romance as you dance your way towards a new year!

One ballroom has a traditional style ceilidh all evening, while the other palatial room has a contemporary ceilidh later becoming more of a glamorous discotheque. Both are fab fun!

An acclaimed event, the Snow Ball's winter theme beautifies The Edinburgh Ballroom at the 5-star Sheraton Grand. Sip an arrival Whitetail Gin Winter Cocktail and anticipate a fine 4-Course Deluxe Dinner - top class Scottish produce and a menu created with originality by experts. A top ceilidh band will entertain, and the dance floor awaits! At midnight, head onto The Terrace to view the Castle fireworks then return to hot chocolate and snowballs - and more dancing! Head along to Shanghai near The Dome, George Street for an After Party until 5am. Entry subject to availability.
