Whisky, Whispers & Wicked Bites: A Halloween Experience Like No Other...
Something deliciously dark is brewing at Duck & Waffle Edinburgh this Halloween, as the iconic restaurant partners with The Scotch Malt Whisky Society and North Edinburgh Nightmares for a spine-chilling evening of storytelling, whisky, and elevated seasonal dining.
On Thursday, 30th October, guests are invited to Tales & Tastings: A Halloween Whisky Experience, a one-night-only event designed to thrill the senses and stir the soul. This immersive Halloween experience will blend mystery, magic, and mouthwatering moments, featuring:
• A guided tasting of distinctive drams from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, each with its own story to tell.
• Spine-tingling cocktails crafted especially for the evening, inspired by autumnal flavours.
• Storytelling performances by North Edinburgh Nightmares, bringing chilling tales from Scotland’s rich folklore to life.
• A curated small plates pairing menu of Duck & Waffle’s signature dishes - with Halloween twists to match the mood of the night.
“We wanted to create something truly unique for Halloween - where the warmth of a great Scotch meets the thrill of local ghost stories. With our partners, we’re bringing an experience that celebrates the best of Scottish whisky, storytelling, and seasonal indulgence,” says Alexander Winter, General Manager at Duck & Waffle Edinburgh.
“Darker evenings and cooler weather are when our whisky truly comes to life. We’re thrilled to kick off whisky season with Duck & Waffle and North Edinburgh Nightmares, offering guests bold, mischievous drams as distinctive as this special event,” says Ria McAdam, European Marketing Manager at The Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
