Everyone’s favourite thing about Christmas? No, it’s not the presents or the tree…it’s the food, obviously! If you’re anything like us, you’ve been counting down the days to savour your favourite festive flavours – and guess what? The wait is finally over… Fat Hippo’s festive menu is back! The eagerly awaited fan favourites are once again topping our list with their limited edition Christmas burgers. In need of festive fuel for braving the holiday shopping or a tasty takeaway after getting the tree up, 'tis the season for stuffing your face, right?
Fat Hippo’s menu is all about being a little bit naughty and nice, and their Christmas burgers are no exception! As always their BurgerLab have been sleigh-ving away to gift us two holiday inspired burger options to choose from, as well as a Festive Fries side. With both meaty and vegan festive treats to choose from, everyone has made Saint Hippo-las’ nice list. Be ready to loosen that belt buckle like the big man before you’ve even started!
The return of the ‘HANS GRUBER-GER’ tells us exactly where Fat Hippo stands on the ‘Die Hard is a Christmas movie?’ debate. Sink your teeth into this holiday masterpiece: a merry mix of juicy beef and sausage patties, gooey American cheese, sage and onion stuffing, crispy fried buttermilk chicken, maple butter mayo, cranberry jello and crunchy pickled red ‘slaw.
For all the plant-based fans, the bells are ringing out for the ‘FAIRYTALE OF NO PORK’! This vegan gem features a crispy Southern fried plant-based chkn patty, gooey vegan cheese, sage and onion stuffing, maple butter mayo, cranberry jello and crunchy pickled red ‘slaw.
With both burgers being served up with your choice of free side as standard, choose from thick hand cut chips, skinny fries or ‘slaw, but if you’re in full festive mode, upgrade any burger with their iconic ‘FESTIVE FRIES’, loaded up with rich sage and onion gravy, maple butter mayo and cranberry jello. Also available to purchase separately as these are not to be missed!
And the holiday vibes don’t stop there! Rumour has it, it’s beginning to look a lot like Fat Hippo’s festive drinks are here to make your celebrations even merrier, with brand-new, delicious bevs perfect for amping up your Christmas party.
Get ready for some festive cheer that’ll make any sweet-tooth swoon! Introducing ‘BAILEY’S BLITZEN’ – a creamy delight for the indulgent! This treat’s got salted caramel Baileys, a double shot no less, whipped up with silky vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, then topped with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, and a festive candy cane!
