Located within No.33 Charlotte Square, Kimpton’s boutique presents ishga, Sassenach Spirits, and Siobhan Mackenzie for an intimate and experiential retail shopping experience unlike anywhere else in the capital.
To coincide with the start of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the boutique pop-up will open its doors from 9-11 August, where both the public and Kimpton hotel guests alike will be welcomed to shop and explore three unique and highly regarded brands. As the world’s largest multi-cultural festival unfurls throughout the city, Kimpton will help celebrate some of Scotland’s best home-grown, luxury products.
Bringing together three artisanal Scottish brands that each celebrate wellness, locality and creativity, the boutique pop-up has something for everyone. From the wild shores of the Hebrides, ishga skincare, for the fashion forward, Siobhan Mackenzie a designer reimagining classic Scottish design for the modern day and who in recent weeks has dressed Shania Twain and Jared Leto, and for the Outlander and whisky fans, Sassenach Spirits, a luxury Gin and Whisky created by Outlanders very own, Sam Heughan.
The boutique will take over No.33 at Charlotte Square, one of the historic townhouse buildings which combine to make Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel. A hotel within a hotel, this space has its very own door onto Charlotte Square, drawing room and lounge, which will be home to the retailers unique offering.
Discover results driven organic skincare from the Isle of Lewis by shopping the award-winning ishga range and speak to their expert team to find the ultimate products to transform your skin. Shop luxury womenswear created and designed by Siobhan Mackenzie including kilts and corsets exclusively made in Scotland, with many being one-off pieces. Bespoke designs for menswear and womenswear can also be ordered, with sample books and measuring on-site. Sample and shop Outlanders, Sam Heughans’ award-winning premium blend Scotch Whisky and Wild Scottish Gin, inspired by the untamed essence of the Highlands. In fact, this event starts the beginning of a partnership with Kimpton Hotels in Scotland and Sassenach Spirits. Kimpton Charlotte in Square in Edinburgh and Kimpton Blythswood Square in Glasgow will be the first hotels to officially stock the gin and whisky from the Outlander star.
