Having launched in 2022 with what is a first-of-its-kind event for Scotland, a 65-strong shortlist of nominees, across fifteen categories, will represent the country’s diverse and far-reaching spectrum of social media excellence, in a real life gathering.
Presenter and broadcaster Danni Menzies will host the Scottish Influencer Awards at the city’s Radisson RED Glasgow on the afternoon of Sunday 3rd March, 2024 between 2pm and 5pm, with organisers promising major levels of lights, cameras, action, and Scotland’s biggest social media stars in attendance.
A range of categories encompassing online life in its broadest sense will honour the country’s most distinct and original storytelling. Influencer of the Year award presentations will recognise excellence in the categories of Food, Drink, Health & Wellbeing, Family and Lifestyle, as well as Travel, Interiors & Design, Arts & Culture, Style, Beauty and Visual. A special award will honour those influencers whose social defines Inspiration. New for 2024 is the creation of a Sport category which has attracted a huge surge of interest from a diverse talent pool, each with an impressive online presence.
A Superinfluencer award will be presented on the day to an individual whose endeavours through business have taken Scotland’s appeal as a country to stratospheric levels globally, with social audience reach running into the billions.
A grand finale announcement on Sunday 3rd March will reveal one individual who has made a truly inspirational impact across their social media…and will be named Scotland’s overall Influencer of the Year for 2024.
Each winner at this year’s ceremony will receive an art-collectable sculpture by renowned Argyll design house Midton, plus a magnum of Rock Angel.
A panel of illustrious judges including Michelin Star UNALOME Chef Patron Graeme Cheevers, Creative Director and Designer Iona Crawford, international beauty and creativity gurus Marc Elrick and Dylan Brittain, CEO and Co-Founder of Future Beauty Labs, and Founder of Hood Emma Kate Miller, will undertake the difficult task of choosing the winners from the thousands of entries received.
Flashbulbs will pop as 500 guests - after walking the Porsche Glasgow red carpet - arrive to a dramatic photo wall. Reporting live on the day from the Awards will be Jilly Isabella – Red Carpet Host, Scottish Influencer Awards; a truly insta-worthy moment! A welcome reception presented in celebration with Rock Angel; the world’s most elegant rosé, will welcome the influencer cognoscenti thereafter.
The much-anticipated awards ceremony hosted by Danni Menzies and supported by a number of sponsors including Moët Hennessy, Porsche, Midton, Princes Square, Laings, Seneca Medical Group, Tan-Luxe, Belvedere Vodka, Rainbow Room International and Hood, will follow.
The SCOTTISH INFLUENCER AWARDS celebrations will continue in style into the evening at a hot-ticket Rock Angel Official After Party with Special Guest Billy Woods of Supermax.
