April 2023: The Ivy on the Square Brasserie is raising a toast to His Majesty with a selection of bespoke cocktails and a special menu fit for royalty to commemorate the upcoming historic King’s Coronation.
Available 24th April – 14th May, guests will receive the royal treatment with a selection of quintessentially British dishes inspired by His Majesty to choose from, and limited-edition cocktails in collaboration with Nyetimber and Beefeater.
For a royal treat, guests can try The King's Coronation Afternoon Tea, featuring a selection of delicious sweet and savoury treats, including sandwiches, scones, macarons, and cakes, with a glass of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee Sparkling Wine.
For a special experience, guests can choose items from limited-edition menu from 2nd – 9th May. For starters, diners can select the Lobster and Prawn Cocktail (£17.95), a classic dish with a rich yet refreshing taste. For mains, they can indulge in the luxurious Grilled Fillet of Beef with 24ct gold leaf (£42.95) for an unforgettable dining experience.
For those with a sweet tooth, The King’s Crown Dessert (£8.95) is the perfect end to a regal meal. A combination of vanilla cream with a crispy crumb base served with fresh raspberries makes for a perfectly light spring dessert. Available from 24th April -14th May.
To accompany a first-class meal, guests can pick from a selection of limited-edition cocktails to raise a glass for the new King. The King’s Martini (£30), served with Beefeater’s Crown Jewel, boasts flavours of refreshing grapefruit, and encapsulates the iconic jewels housed in the Tower of London.
The first 25 guests who order this between 2nd – 9th May will also be able to take home the iconic martini glass with the purchase of this cocktail. Other options on the menu include a revitalising Apple and Jasmine Martini (£12) and an elegant Queen Gin and Tonic Spritz (£12).
The Nyetimber Rosé MV (£18/£105) also is available by the glass or bottle; a sunset-pink vintage rosé with refreshing redcurrant, raspberry, and cherry flavours for an elegant finish.
Audiences are invited to travel the globe - both musically and visually - this May, as both David Attenborough and Eurovision head to the big screen at Vue venues across Scotland.
