The event, a new venture from the team behind the wildly popular Foodies Festival, will run over three weekends in December and feature a sparkling light trail around the lake, Santa’s Grotto, fairground rides, Christmas crafts, street food and lots of animals to meet.
Visitors will be able to donate to charity partner Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) when they purchase tickets, or buy a ribbon to make a wish at the Magical Wishing Tree.
Have an Enchanted day out and meet Santa at East Lothian’s Balgone Estate
Enchanted Festival opens on the 2nd December 2022 and runs over the first three weekends of December, and the week leading up to Christmas. A real treat for the whole family, the kids can meet Santa in his grotto or post their letters to him at the special Express Post Box to the North Pole, enjoy fairground rides and a Christmas maze.
Beautiful Balgone Estate will be transformed into a winter wonderland each evening from 4pm, with a light trail around the lake all set to festive music. Discover amazing scenes, glittering with thousands of colourful lights, amongst the trees and stop off at the Snowy Cabin to toast marshmallows.
With Santa being such a popular fellow, Enchanted Festival offers another chance for kids to meet him in the run-up to Christmas. Parents can book in advance alongside their tickets, so don’t miss the chance to make a magical memory and tell him what you want for Christmas!
At the fairground you can ride the Santa Train, Snowman Wipeout, Winter Waltzer, Astroslide, explore the Frozen Castle, bounce on Candy Cane Bungee Trampolines and try the I'm a Celebrity Jungle Challenge. Kids will love the pony rides and the chance to hang out with cute donkeys.
Masterclasses will be running all day, with kids trying their hands at biscuit decorating, bauble and Christmas card making, while the grown-ups can make wreaths or even taste festive wine and cocktails. Keep the party going in the street food area and enjoy mulled wine, hot toddies and Baileys hot chocolate all while munching on a selection of the best local burgers, pizza, burritos and much more.

About Foodies Festivals
Foodies Festival is a celebration of quality local food and drink, launched in Edinburgh in 2006 and now with festivals around the country, making it the largest food and drink festival in the UK. Each Foodies Festival is a celebration of the food in each region, as we encourage local artisan producers, local street food traders and local food and drink producers to take part.
About Balgone Estate
Situated two miles outside the lovely seaside town of North Berwick, the estate presents a unique countryside landscape. Eclipsed by the Law, an extinct volcanic plug, and split by an intrusive fault line, you can't help but feel like you’re in a special spot. At the feet of the dramatic cliff-face lay two lakes surrounded by trials, waiting to be explored. Alongside this spectacular setting, Balgone farms roughly 1500 acres of arable land
