The nation’s favourites on the big screen at Vue Edinburgh Ocean and Vue Edinburgh Omni
From iconic actors to acclaimed directors and noteworthy performers to beloved broadcasters, Britain has a lot of cherished talent within the entertainment industry. In 2020, a number of world-renowned British names can be seen at Vue Edinburgh Ocean and Vue Edinburgh Omni.
March brings us the musical theatre world’s ultimate duo in Michael Ball & Alfie Boe – Back Together which will delight audiences nationwide. The final show of their UK tour at the o2 arena in London will be hitting the big screen from the 28th March. Showcasing their phenomenal vocals, the pair will be treating viewers to songs from their third album Back Together, following the number one hits Together and Together Again.
In April, national treasure David Attenborough comes to the big screen in David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet. The unique feature documentary is a powerful first-hand account of humanity’s impact on nature and a message of hope for future generations. For the first time ever, David will reflect upon the defining moments of his lifetime as a naturalist and devastating changes he has seen. The film will be followed by a Q&A with Attenborough, live from the World Premiere at the Royal Albert Hall. David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet is out 16th April.
In May, exactly 75 years since Winston Churchill’s announcement of the end of the Second World War, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra plus special guests will unite the nation for an inspiring and patriotic evening. VE Day Live from Royal Albert Hall will be screened on this year’s special bank holiday, Friday 8th May. The country will come together for an unforgettable night of commemoration and celebration, broadcast to Vue venues nationwide live from a sold-out Royal Albert Hall. VE Day Live from Royal Albert Hall is out 8th May.
