Since the full refurbishment in January of 2013 Why Not Nightclub has quickly reinstated its reputation as Edinburgh’s premier night spot and has proven itself to be the most popular night club destination in Edinburgh. As well as our innovative new look we have worked tirelessly to build our success on quality service, promotion of cutting edge premium drinks and first class entertainment in a revolutionary, modern setting.
Located in the heart of the capital, Whynot was the first nightclub on George Street and as was the case in the nineties, we have always endeavoured to be pioneers and continue to lead the way in terms of the overall customer experience.
Nestled beneath the famous Edinburgh landmark that is The Dome Bar & Grill Why Not offers the perfect setting for any occasion. We are blessed with some fantastic points of difference that propel us beyond the limits and constraints of the norm. Featuring four cocktail bars, a large central Dancefloor with onlooking private booths, a stunning outdoor heated courtyard and Scotland’s only full LED Lighting room
Through innovative décor, revolutionary sound & lighting and advanced marketing techniques Why Not has already been recognised as one of the countries leading late night venues but more importantly our client base have shown us this recognition by attending faithfully and regularly.
