Family-run, Firth of Forth sightseeing tours
Our spectacular sightseeing boat trips depart most days from the Hawes Pier in South Queensferry, Edinburgh (Easter to Autumn) and we offer 1½ hour sightseeing cruises where you can get unrivalled views of the magnificent Forth Bridges from our open top deck.
Our boat trips to Inchcolm Island are consistently voted as of the best things to do in Edinburgh every summer.
There is an abundance of marine wildlife to be seen such as seals, puffins, guillemots, razorbills and the occasional sightings of porpoises, dolphins and even Minke whales.
Most of our sailings stop off at Inchcolm Island where you have the option of getting off the boat and spending 90mins exploring the magnificent Inchcolm Abbey and island before boarding the boat again and returning to South Queensferry.
We also offer a range of evening cruises with either a Jazz band, Folk band or disco and along with our well-stocked ship’s bar and optional BBQ supper, it’s a fantastic night out.
The Maid is also available for charter for any private events that you wish to hold in a unique setting, from birthday parties, staff nights out to corporate presentations / conference facilities.
We also run boat trips from North Berwick through our sister company 'Seafari Adventures', where we have two high speed RIBs and a high speed 50 seat Catamaran called 'Seafari Explorer'. The boat trips from North Berwick head out to the world famous Bass Rock and the Isle of May National Nature Reserve. Please see our 'Seafari Adventures' page for more details of these trips.
We would love for you to experience our #maidadventures.
