Starting and finishing at Queen Margaret University, this scenic course follows cycle paths and quiet roads, including the Brunstane Burn Walkway and the historic Innocent Railway, passing under Arthur’s Seat before looping back for a buffet and medal.
With just 150 metres of climb, it’s fairly flat and perfect for testing your pace or chasing a PB. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned runner, expect a friendly atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of encouragement along the way.
Every finisher receives a medal to make it official! The route is on tarmac, clearly marked, and well marshalled, so you can focus on your stride and soak up the buzz.
Best of all, every mile supports three brilliant Scottish children’s charities.
The Innocent Half combines community spirit, scenic running, and a great cause — a half marathon worth every step!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
