Come along to watch a screening of Paul Schrader's 1985 biopic of Japan's Yukio Mishima.
On the 55th Anniversary of the Mishima Incident, where Yukio Mishima, one of Japan's most celebrated living authors attained worldwide infamy, we will gather to watch a screening of Paul Schrader's 1985 biopic of Mishima's life. Hosted by H-J Hoyles, this event will commemorate one of Japan's most interesting literary figures, and a monolithic presence in global writing of the twentieth century.
