Endless Cookie (2025) / Canada / 98 min / 12A
Scottish Documentary Institute is delighted to present Endless Cookie (2025), a kooky animated documentary from Seth and Peter Scriver.
Wrinkly pickles for noses. A dog that looks like Mr. Peanut. A talking cookie. Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of Endless Cookie.
The film explores the complex bond between two half brothers, one Indigenous, one white, spanning bustling 1980s Toronto to the present day isolated First Nations community of Shamattawa. Through a series of colourful vignettes - some tragic, some funny, some absurd - the two brothers speak frankly about family, identity and race, combining the personal and the political with a wry sense of humour that they both share.
The screening will begin with a recorded introduction from the directors.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale, from £2 - £12.
This screening is part of Doc Screen, an initiative run by Scottish Documentary Institute (SDI) in partnership with Filmhouse.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
