An introduction to contemplative writing practices
Step into the ancient practice that has guided saints for centuries. Whether you’ve never put pen to paper or you’re seeking to deepen an existing writing practice, this accessible workshop invites you to discover how contemplation naturally flows into action.
Led by Jenna Baer, a writer and storyteller with a background in organisational development, creative consulting, and wellbeing practice, participants will create their own poem step by step in a supportive and private setting, with space for optional sharing, meaningful connection, and practical tools to carry their writing forward.
While grounded in a sacred tradition, it remains open to all — welcoming those who bring a religious faith, as well as those simply seeking stillness, depth, and creative expression during the Advent season of waiting and listening.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
