Your journey begins above ground during a 45 minutes ghost walking tour, you’ll uncover chilling tales of witches and executions, discover how to identify a witch, and learn what fate awaited those accused in the 16th century. Hear of the condemned who met their end near St Giles’ Cathedral - including Robert Johnson, who endured the longest recorded hanging in history - and the notorious Burke and Hare, whose crimes still echo through the centuries.
Then, descend beneath the city streets into The Lost Close, a hidden underground space steeped in history. Here, you’ll savour two drams of premium Scotch whisky as you delve deeper into Edinburgh’s dark past. Listen to stories of both spirits and the spirit, where history, legend, and whisky intertwine.
With limited availability and small group sizes, this intimate experience captures the true essence of Halloween in Edinburgh.
Dates: October 31st & November 1st | Time: 6:00 PM | Duration: 90 minutes | Price: £35 per person
