Samhain Sound Bath Meditation
Come and reconnect with your inner self and tap into living in balance with your body and the Earth's natural cycles.
Samhain is a cross quarter festival (31st Oct-1st Nov) and sees the end of the Autumn and the onset of the winter. Increasing darkness and cold means we must accept the winter is fast approaching and we must adjust to this changing season. It mark's the beginning of the period of rest regeneration and the darkest time of the year cycle. It is the end and the beginning of the Sun's wheel of the year affirming rebirth in the midst of death and darkness.
The veil between the seen world of matter and the unseen world of spirits becomes thin a perceived crack in the fabric of space and time. It is time for communication with ancestors a time for omens divination and seeking to understand the inner mysteries.
It is time to drift dream and vision a time for inner journeys connecting to the wisdom within yourself.
This dark phase of the year's cycle is when the mystery of transformation occurs. This process involves descent and death of something old in preparation for something new to be reborn.
As a part of the Samhain celebration I will start the Sound Bath Meditation by telling you a little story connected with this time of the year before sending you on your own individual journeys.
After the Sound Bath we will conclude the evening with sharing and/or writing down your personal reflections.
Come and celebrate the death and rebirth of the great cycle of the year with me. As the power of the outer realm wane the power of the inner realms will expand and we are made whole.
