Learn how to save seeds and why this changes everything…
If you grow your own food at home or in a community space, or hope to someday, come along to Lauriston Farm to learn about saving seeds. This one-day workshop gives an introduction to why we should all be saving seed, and the basics of how to go about it, with opportunities for hands-on experience and a chance to see the farm’s various seed-saving projects.
The day will include a tour of the Market Garden and practical activities in the Community Garden, with fresh soup and bread for lunch, and plenty of time for questions and chat.
This is one of our favourite subjects and we're excited to share it with you - join us if you can!
This event is part of 'Our Seeds' - the ongoing project to rebuild seed sovereignty in north Edinburgh. Our Seeds: All Seeds are Migrants, Every Seed Has a Story
