September is for Coastal Spain — where the sea meets the vine!
Spain’s coastline gives us so much — from Galicia’s windswept Atlantic shores to the rugged Basque coast, from Catalonia’s sparkling Mediterranean cliffs down to Málaga and Jerez in the sultry south. Here, the sea isn’t just a backdrop, it’s a defining force: shaping vineyards, flavours, and the culture of the table itself.
This tasting dives right in — exploring how salt, breeze, and seaside traditions have shaped the country’s most captivating wines. Think fishing villages, seaside tapas bars, and long sunlit lunches — bottled. In Spain, wine is never far from the table, always paired with food, laughter, and the rhythm of daily life. Del mar a la mesa (from the sea to the table).
Fresh, vibrant, and deeply rooted in place, Slonk explores Spain’s ocean-linked heritage via it's wine .
We’ll taste our way through: Zesty, saline whites from Galicia + the Basque Country Catalan treasures with Mediterranean charm Elegant reds shaped by sea breezes + coastal soils🍷 The iconic fortified wines of Jerez — with a kiss of the ocean
And of course — Jamón, Catalan almonds, anchovies, and Basque delights to match!
