This is a free walking tour of Edinburgh's Old Town with difference.
Your guide will tell you about Edinburgh's history across the full 901-year range of the city's formal existence, and beyond. The tour is as enlightening as the city itself, you'll discover things you never knew because we tell stories most other tour guides completely ignore.
Unscripted, but tightly paced and researched, our tour is as popular with Edinburgh natives as it is with new arrivals to the city, so come on aboard!
Edinburgh can be a tricky city to navigate but the tour can be made accessible if you tell us what your requirements are. There are stairs and hills but many of these can be avoided if need be.
The Edinburgh Street Historians is Edinburgh's local and independent tour operator. We're ethical, sustainable, and more than anything we're entertaining.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
All information (whether in text or photographs) is supplied in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.GOT AN EVENT TO SHARE? It's free to post your events on What's On Edinburgh, click here to find out more!
