You are invited now to take the time for yourself and rest deeper than ever before, which can help you cope with life's challenges. The powerful sounds and healing voice with skilled weaving of gongs, crystal and Himalayan singing bowls lull your mind body and spirit into a physically restful state, releasing stress and tension, nurturing your soul and easing mental fog.
Would you like to experience a live and amplified immersive therapeutic sound experience? These sessions are proving to be nurturing, supportive and bringing peace, clarity and regeneration. Susaidh (Suzy Nairn) from Soundsphere is delighted to bring her particular style of sound healing to Edinburgh and share these quarterly sound healing chambers. Many guests have profound experiences and love the addition of the amplification to enhance the sounds no matter where they are resting-either lying down or seated.
Common feedback includes significant shifts for participants - either physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually. The space and sounds can bring insight, or simply a place to rest and rejuvenate. Often I am also told of reduced physical pain, reduced anxiety or tension and even a settling of high blood pressure and improvement in sleep patterns. Some other testimonials "Just beautiful and so magical I loved it and will definitely be back next month". "I felt the sounds floated throughout and they stimulated my imagination" "I loved the session last night. Very powerful, my body was responding to all the sounds, waking up and shaking off tension perhaps. I feel fluid in my way of being and energised. Thank you so much, this was my first experience of receiving sound healing from you and your team." "Last night was my first night attending your sound sessions and it definitely won’t be my last. I found it a very powerful, deeply relaxing experience". "Another brilliant sound healing, and each time it's so different, was intense in a good way".
THE EVENING begins with a short talk some from Susaidh, her reflection on the time of year, moon cycle or anything that feels appropriate and significant. Then you will wrap up with your cosy blanket, mat etc and rest as you are immersed and nurtured in a healing soundscape - a tapestry of sound will support you as you are surrounded in frequencies and vibrations, helping you to journey to the other realms, cleansing and de-stressing your physical, emotional, mental or spiritual bodies and supporting your growth and development. After a period of silence there will be an opportunity to share (optional) and enjoy some grounding chocolate! In addition each month a small singing bowl and instrument shop will be there and payments can be given by card or cash.
Please bring a mat, a cosy blanket (or 2), cushion (also eye mask if you choose), a hat/hood, bottle of water and come along for 7.45pm when the doors will open.
For advance booking the 90 min session costs: Lying down - £30, or £48 for 2 people, £12 in the pews. Zoom live stream £12, and replay for one month £12, Pre order pro recording £10 (or join The Sphere and get the live stream and replay included!)
DATES: First Friday every 3 months
The evenings are hosted by Susaidh of Soundsphere who is a Practitioner of Sound Therapy (DipST) with many years of experience to weave a magical evening.
Susaidh is the owner of Soundsphere Scotland which launched in 2009 and has been offering short courses, group journeys, recordings, healing music concerts and individual treatments in Peebles and around Scotland since then. She is also a member of the Board of the International Therapeutic Sound Association and runs professional training through her Soundsphere Sound Healing School in Scotland and offers a Certificate in Creative Therapeutic Sound for small groups (max 5) from her premises in Peebles. The course is highly regarded as one of the best for producing highly skilled and professional sound therapists who can deliver powerful and beautiful sessions for groups.
