Celebrate the Final Weekend of the 2025 Visitor Season at Hopetoun House!
Each day will be packed with hands-on activities and family fun, all included with your Grounds or House & Grounds ticket!
Saturday: Meet the Unicorns!
We’re thrilled to welcome back Lunar Eclipse therapy ponies and unicorns.
Come along and say hello or for just £4, take a unicorn for a magical walk along Lime Avenue!
(Please bring cash unicorn walks are not included in your entrance ticket. Available from 12pm to 4pm.)
All proceeds go towards supporting Lunar Eclipse’s incredible community work.
Sunday: Meet the Menagerie!
From 12pm to 4pm, meet the animals from Menagerie Edinburgh!
Pet, feed, take photos, and chat with experienced animal handlers a must-do for animal lovers of all ages.
Activities on Both Saturday & Sunday
Explorer Packs – Pick up a trail sheet in the Education Room and find the animal clues in the Grounds.
Ranger Centre – Meet Ranger Emma and her amazing team of volunteers to learn about the life of a countryside ranger and the work they do in the Grounds.
Crafts in the Education Room – Get creative between 12pm and 4pm with fun and inspiring craft activities for all ages.
The Stables Kitchen – Refuel with a delicious range of homemade savoury and sweet treats, served all day.
Explore the Main House – Want to step inside one of Scotland’s finest stately homes? Upgrade your ticket for an exclusive tour of this architectural masterpiece.
Whether you’re here for the ponies, the crafts, the animals, or the cake — this weekend is all about family, fun, and discovery.
