From swinging toe-tappers and classic ballads found in the Great American Songbook, to our favourite pop tunes from the 60s and 70s, the night is sure to have something for everyone to enjoy. Featuring hits popularised by Ella Fitzgerald, Chet Baker and Carol King, we welcome you to this night that will see you leaving ‘On the Sunny Side of the Street’.
A dynamic and engaging jazz group, The Stone Combo plays as a duo, like tonight, and sometimes in a larger ensemble format. Bringing a wealth of performing experience and passion for jazz, the musicians combine this to provide captivating recitals in a variety settings to different audiences. The Stone Combo have played in iconic venues including Òran Mór, The Old Course Hotel St Andrews and the Hunterian Museum. Bringing to life the musical stylings of Ella Fitzgerald, Chet Baker and other favourite interpreters of The Great American Songbook, they create an accessible gateway for people to find or rediscover their love of jazz music.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
