Come and reconnect with your inner self and tap into living in balance with your body and the Earth's natural cycles.
Lammas falls on 1st August and it is the seasonal peak of high summer and as with all cross quarter festivals(part of the seasonal cycle of the sun known as the Wheel of the Year) it represents a change in the manifest of energy. Summer feels like as it will last forever but know we begin to see the first signs of change and transformation. In the fields the cereal crops have turned from green to gold are gathered in. The first fruits nuts and seeds are ripening. It is the harvest time.
We too begin to assimilate and gather our won harvest the first fruits of our active phase now manifests in our outer world - THE HARVEST OF OUR HEART’S DESIRES AND FRUIT OF OUR LABOURS.
This is the period of assessment and celebrations as we begin to gather ourselves together after period of much scattering energy. This is the time to take reflected look at ourselves. In the early spring we planted the seeds of our hopes and desires. Some things have manifested and some not. The Lammas festival gives the chance to pause celebrate and reflect to have a deeper understanding of our actions and ourselves at this point in time.
At Lammas we count our blessing and give thanks and appreciation for all we are harvesting. Being aware of them will help us to see ways to take them forwards into to the next part of the cycle. We can make the necessary adjustments to turn and face our inner journey that we will be entering with the dark and reflective winter part of the cycle approaching.
Come and celebrate the death and rebirth of the great cycle of the year with me. As the power of the outer realm wane the power of the inner realms will expand and we are made whole.. As a part of the Lammas festival celebration I will start the Sound Bath Meditation by telling you a little story connected with this time of the year before sending you on your own individual journeys.
After the Sound Bath we will conclude the evening with sharing and/or writing down your personal reflections.
