A wildly funny and profoundly moving exploration of the sanctity of sisterhood, FLUSH unfolds entirely in the women’s bathroom – a space of eyeliner touch-ups, whispered confessions, and fleeting connections. Shortlisted for the prestigious Charlie Hartill Award for 2025, this fast-moving, ensemble comedy-drama offers a raw and humorous portrayal of female solidarity within the charming grime of public toilet cubicles.

Set over the course of one night in a Shoreditch club, FLUSH is delivered in fragments and flushes and captures the blur of being many things at once: bold, fragile, furious, absurd. The protagonist, Billie, has just experienced something she can’t quite name yet. As she hovers between shock and clarity, the bathroom becomes a strange kind of shelter – where strangers offer tampons, stories, and the occasional unsolicited life advice.
