About Bruntsfield Baroque
Hear how European musicians were drawn to the Athens of the North, performing with Scots composers such as William McGibbon and James Oswald, and embracing native songs and tunes in their own compositions. A programme of solo and trio sonatas paints a picture of music-making in the Age of Enlightenment.
