Find out about the rise and fall of this estate with the various families that built it up and the last family that allowed the estate to fall into rack and ruin.
The walk around the estate will pick up on remaining evidence of what was a developing and thriving estate with many "modern" facilities of its time and also the sad tale of the final years before the remains of the estate was gifted to The National Trust for Scotland.
The estate is now managed by City of Edinburgh Council as a Nature reserve and some of the recent innovations will be seen on the walk.
Starting at The Lodge, Cammo Road, Edinburgh EH4 8AN
If possible, please let us know you are coming by email to: admin@cramondheritage.org.uk with a name and numbers in the party, otherwise just turn up on the day before 13:00
