Slanj Events is proud to announce the return of Edinburgh’s Whisky Festival on Saturday 11th October 2025, once again taking over the legendary Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium for what promises to be the most immersive and spirited year yet.
Now in its third year, following two sell-out successes in 2023 and 2024, Edinburgh’s Whisky Festival (EWF) has fast become a standout celebration of Whisky, Heritage, and Wellness — the signature strands that define the Slanj Events experience.
Over 200 Whiskies, 50+ Exhibitors, and a Unique Festival Format
This year’s event will feature two tasting sessions packed with flavour and discovery, welcoming over 50 distillers, bottlers, and artisan producers from across Scotland and beyond. Visitors can enjoy sampling more than 200 whiskies, engaging with experts, and discovering new favourites — all with a branded Glencairn glass and lanyard included in every ticket.
Meanwhile, EWF’s Heritage strand brings whisky history to life through a dedicated exhibition and live coopering demonstrations, immersing guests in the traditional skills that shaped Scotland’s spirit industry.
At the heart of the festival lies its Wellness strand, a powerful commitment to community, charity, and meaningful connection. Edinburgh’s Whisky Festival is proud to continue its partnership with the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, raising vital funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research.
Slanj Event Festivals are backed by TV personality and former Scotland international rugby star Kenny Logan, a close friend of the late Doddie Weir, who inspired the foundation. Kenny said:
“Doddie would have loved this event. Whisky, stories, laughter, and giving something back — it’s everything he stood for.”
Festival co-founder Serena Lindsay added:
“This isn’t just a tasting event — it’s a celebration of Scotland’s spirit in every sense. We’re proud to honour Doddie’s legacy by weaving wellness into the very fabric of our festivals.”
A Growing Family of Festivals:
With the continued success of Clackmannanshire’s Whisky Festival, and the exciting launch of Dundee’s Whisky Festival coming to Caird Hall in June 2026, Slanj Events is carving out a new legacy of whisky celebration across Scotland — rooted in tradition, driven by passion, and open to everyone.
Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or a curious newcomer, Edinburgh’s Whisky Festival offers an unforgettable experience set against the backdrop of one of Scotland’s most iconic venues.
Let’s raise a dram to community, culture, and the spirit of Scotland. See you at Murrayfield!
