About STARDUST Starring Star Dust (In Person)
Think Gloria Swanson meets Fleabag at a wake. Sprayed gold. With snacks. Kat McGarr (Punchdrunk) dramatically introduces us to the fallen golden Icon, Star Dust, reminiscent of a yesteryear actor, desperately trying to stay in the spotlight with nothing left to lose except the will to perform and possibly her marbles.
STARDUST is a Fringe debut from Punchdrunk’s Kat McGarr, in which we see Kat transform personal grief into something absurd, funny, and profound. It is a glittering love letter to loss, legacy, and melting down or hope.
Accompanied by pianist Robyn Herfellow, McGarr treats audiences to a glitter-soaked tragicomedy cabaret.
