About A PhD Research Project: Non-linear interactive picturebook reading workshop
Hello! We are seeking participants for a research study on Nonlinear interactive picturebooks.
This study is being conducted by Huiling Chen, a PhD researcher at Edinburgh College of Art and aims to be better understand how nonlinear and interactive storytelling tools help children understand and express their emotions.
We welcome children aged 5-8 and their carers to participate in our picturebook reading workshop. We will read interactive picture books related to emotional topics in the workshop, usually 30-45 minutes.
After that, we will conduct a semi-structure interview with the carer for 10 minutes.

The workshops will take place over 2 weeks 7th June or 14th June. Families who participate in the workshop will get a plush doll and a £20 Waterstones gift card!
