The River Almond was at the forefront of the Scottish Iron Industry in the 18 and 19th Century.
This walk will open up the story behind the 100 years of iron works in the area as you walk down to Cramond.
*Please note the walk includes two flights of stairs (70 up and 70 down)*
The walk will finish at our permanent exhibition centre in Cramond and you will be able to see many of the stories of this ancient settlement on the banks of the Forth.
Walks MUST be booked in advance by the Wednesday before the walk. Please give a name and the number in your the party to admin@cramondheritage.org.uk. Accompanied Children are free
The walk is organised by Cramond Heritage Trust, a charity run entirely by volunteers, preserving and sharing Cramond's story.
